Short answer: the stuff I like doesn't get nominated.
Long answer: The Gods Themselves and Bridge of Birds are two of my all time favorite books. I don't regret reading any of the ones I've finished, though Harry Potter comes close (it had some plot holes that really annoyed me). The rest ranked from most liked to least:
