Second Retrievers novel, where we learn a little more about the Silence and the fatae, while the Council remains cryptic to the point of not making sense. Had several really good moments, but overall was slightly disappointing.

First Retrievers book, a romantic urban fantasy set in New York City. Wren is a kleptomaniac with magical powers who makes her living retrieving things stolen by others. Sergei is an art gallery owner with secrets in his past who handles all her business negotiations. The supernatural elements were surprisingly original, though somewhat vague.
