a book without a name

A book I've been waiting for is supposed to be published next month, but I've been getting rather worried about it since neither Amazon nor the publisher have a title for it yet. Today I decided to check the author's website, and discovered that the lack of title is a promotional gimmick, not (necessarily) a sign that the author had written himself into a corner and will have to start over from scratch.

I'm happy, though I suspect this is really annoying to a lot of librarians.
