Terry Pratchett, Where's My Cow?
Harper Collins (2005) ISBN: 0060872675
Score: -1
If you've read Thud!, you're probably imagining a better book than this is. It does include the pages for the animals that were only mentioned in the novel (but no additional animals), and the full Vimes street version (Foul Ol' Ron, Coffin Henry, Dibbler, Detritus, Vetinari, and Vimes) and what you should do when you lose livestock, and that new material is balanced by inconsistencies with the novel. I don't see why they felt a need to publish this instead of just adding a couple paragraphs to the novel.

I thought it was worth the 5 minutes I spent in the bookstore reading it cover to cover. (I haven't bothered to pick up Thud, and will probably wait 'till paper).
I -think- the point is that you can read it as an actual children's book, but, um, yeah.
