'Abrupt' is an understatement.

Semi-spoiler:

I found The Clan Corporate to be right at my limit of how much unrecompensed crap I want to see a protagonist take, and the abrupt cutoff before she could do anything useful about it didn't help at all.

I will, however, continue to read the series for at least one more book.
