Start of Breaking the Wall, an urban fantasy series based on the Chinese Zodiac and mah-jong. This book is set in the USA, but I expect parts of future books to be set in a parallel world/fairyland. Very interesting premise and likable characters, but not much action or suspense.

A story set in the future about a woman who can hear inanimate objects speaking, but she can only talk in quotes from literature. The pacing was a bit uneven and the conflict seemed to be dealt with too easily, but still enjoyable.

Sixth and probably final Firekeeper book, in which things are resolved. A good ending for the series.

The fifth Firekeeper book, in which things get weird. She travels even further south, discovers why there has been so much recent interest in sorcery, and then things get really complicated. I was disappointed with the ending; several things weren't talked about, and it mostly felt like the first book of a series.

Third Firekeeper book, which mostly resolves the plot threads of the previous books and sets things up for a new conflict. I still think the author is a bit unclear as to what exactly happened in the previous books, but at least the mistakes are mostly irrelevant in this book.

Second book about Firekeeper, the girl raised by wolves. The setting and characters are still quite good, and Firekeeper plays a more central role. But the plot had a few sloppy inconsistencies (and one possibly major one), and a couple things I thought the characters should have done in the previous book would have made this book's conflict impossible.

Start of a high fantasy series about a girl raised by wolves. While she clearly has a Destiny, this book is more about court politics than her. I would prefer fewer internal monologues, but otherwise I quite liked it.
