Third book of the unnamed series that started with Melusine, and this time nearly the whole book actually occurs inside that city. In fact, most of the book takes place inside the heads of the three POV characters (this book adds Mehitabel) as they struggle with their pride, guilt, and relationships. The ending had less closure than the second book, but more than the first, and one plot thread was tied up rather abruptly in order to set up the next book.

Second book of an unnamed quartet, in which the characters fix the rest of the stuff that was broken in the previous book. The first part of the book was fairly slow (another long journey), and several things at the end seemed a bit too easy, but the characters were well done.

Start of an unnamed high fantasy series; the title refers to a city ruled by wizards, though much of the book takes place outside of it. There are two POV characters (a wizard and a thief), but while they aren't nice people they still don't deserve all they're put through. This is one book that really needed a map and glossary but didn't get one; the author's website has a description of the calendar, but there are still things you have to figure out yourself (like that "hocus" means "wizard" not "demon", and I still don't know how much a "great septad" is).
