(I don't understand magazines. I'm including the ISSN because I thought it was equivalent to ISBN, but this is the same number as the previous issue. And for a magazine claiming to publish quarterly, it's odd to see consecutive issues both labeled Summer. Anyway, this issue is a free download from the above link for a limited time.) Another Gil and Ilias story, set a couple years after they meet, but still early in their career and deals with a mining town missing its entire population.

Conclusion of the Fall of Ile-Rien trilogy, a post-industrial high fantasy. It's a novel in three volumes, so start with The Wizard Hunters (or better yet, Death of the Necromancer, which introduces the heroine's parents). The pacing was very good (especially considering this was the author's first multi-volume work), lots of excitement, revelations, and resolutions. I love these characters, and any book with even a teeny bit of Arisilde is worth reading.

Next Book: Sarah Ash, Children of the Serpent Gate (which is already suffering in comparison)
