Scott Westerfeld, Blue Noon
Eos (2005) ISBN: 0-06-051957-6
Score: 2
Third (and maybe final) Midnighter book. The midnight time freeze starts happening during the day, and things seem to be building up to a major catastrophe on Halloween. A satisfactory end to the trilogy (if it is over), though the climax could have been set up better. The score loses a point because the characters keep complaining about how little time they have, yet seem to do nothing for most of three weeks and don't even consider a couple of obvious (to me) courses of action.
Next Book: Elaine Isaak, The Singer's Crown
